    We all are living in the era driven by dynamics of technology, internet, shifting customer preferences and loyalty. Hence business strategies require constant reformulation and redefinition. This is because the old assumptions and practices are no longer valid or there has been neutralization and imitation of tactics by competitors. Organizations can remain successful and sustainable by reinventing themselves continually. Author Mr. Vijay Govindrajan’s has defined a framework, which can help the organization in leading Innovation. This book is the result of thirty-five years of research in corporations globally and includes instances of the companies benefited by implementing this framework. The more people in a company who understand how the three boxes work, the better prepared that organization will be to anticipate and exploit changes of all kinds – to act instead of reacting. The objectives of this book review are to present the new perspective of innovational practices adopted by the various organizations for the formulation of business strategies and bringing relevance according to the dynamics of the technology and challenging competitive advantage.

    A STUDY ON THE REQUIREMENT OF SKILLS DEVELOPMENT FOR THE SUCCESS OF “MAKE IN INDIA” PROJECT

    Around five months back, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched “Make in India” project, with an aim to make manufacturing a key engine for India’s economic growth. But to make this project successful, it is important to focus on the development of the skills of Indian labours to enable them in getting and doing the right job. Planning Commission report suggests only10% of the Indian workforce get formal training and against the actual industrial training requirement of 22 million workers, only 4.3 million workers are getting trained! To overcome this, Government of India has launched various skill development initiatives, but faced various challenges while implementing the same. However, few other nations like, China, Germany, South Korea, United Kingdom and Singapore have successfully implemented their respective skill development programs. So, in order to make “Make in India” project successful, various corrective measures should be taken to bridge the gap between existing and required skills and also to improve the implementation of skill development initiatives.

    A STUDY ON FEMALE CONSUMERS’ PERCEPTION TOWARDS ONLINE GROCERY SHOPPING WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO KALYAN-DOMBIVLI CITY

    Grocery shopping is primarily dominated by the female consumers in the Indian market. Couple of decades ago, Indian consumers had the only option of neighbourhood grocery and kirana shops to purchase the grocery from, with limited variety. However, today the scenario has changed completely. Now, consumers have multiple options like Supermarkets, Mini-marts, Specialty stores and even E- Grocers, which have added more comfort and convenience to their lives. Change in lifestyles, growth of internet and rising number of smartphone owners have opened the doors of online market for many entrepreneurs. Bigbasket.com, Grofers.com, Localbanya.com, Zopnow.com are the few names, who have grabbed this opportunity by launching online grocery platforms. This paper aims to analyse the perception of female consumers towards shopping groceries through online platforms. A questionnaire has been developed and primary data of 110 female respondents were collected. This survey was carried out in Kalyan & Dombivli area situated in Maharashtra, India.
